Mink yarn comes from mink that are gently sheared, so no mink are killed! The fibers are very soft but very short, so they are often spun together with other fibers so the yarn won’t break when knitting. There isn’t much mink yarn on the market, so you get a truly unique product that is also hand-dyed - win win......
