Mohair is not just mohair..... mohair is hair and not wool. Therefore, the shorter the hairs are, the more it itches - like if we had been crew-cut. Economically, producers get more out of shearing the goats often and thus obtain more yarn than by letting them grow long. The longer the hairs are, the more they lie flat against our skin and therefore itch less. It is not recommended for people with allergies and therefore has a category C, but if you are "just" sensitive, I would still recommend you try this, as it really is different. This luxury mohair only runs 350m per 50g. It becomes very thick if you knit with two strands. Therefore, for example PetiteKnits "Kumulus sweater" would be nice in a single strand of this mohair.
